Hm. Well, that file still exists, as an empty file (zero-sized), even if dpkg -l gcj starts with "pn", which doesn't sound normal to me -- but I'm not familiar with dpkg's internals, so please correct me if that is indeed normal. Apart from that, I didn't find any further references to the above message in any of the files in /var/lib/dpkg/info/*, /var/lib/dpkg/*; and the files owned by gcj seem to have been removed as well. I didn't re-run dpkg yet, because it's the dpkg inside of quickstep's chroot, and when I wanted to try (yesterday) it was building a package it hasn't finished yet; seen the m68k port has a huge backlog currently, I won't interfere there. If you think it could be useful to do special things with dpkg, let me know and I'll run them once the current build is complete, but otherwise, I think this bug can be either closed because of "not enough information", or left open, at your option. For reference, the above error happened in the db4.2_4.2.52-9 buidl for the m68k platform. If you want me to keep the build tree intact (it's still there), let me know; else, I'll remove it by tomorrow. -- Wouter Verhelst Debian GNU/Linux -- http://www.debian.org Nederlandstalige Linux-documentatie -- http://nl.linux.org "Stop breathing down my neck."
