This is a bug of the unpacking code for tar-archives greated by the new gnu tar version. See Bug#230910. The problem arises if you have a filename of exactly 100 characters (including the matching ./).
I have a not so clean patch for this problem attached, which workes for
me but creates memory leaks but is able to unpack those debs correctly.
