Hi, I use emdebian's cross toolchains, and find them very useful and convenient; thank you to all who work on them!
Recently, the cross-toolchains for unstable seem to have become uninstallable, due to two issues: - The libc packages, libc6-powerpc-cross and libc6-dev-powerpc-cross, depend on corresponding packages libc-bin-powerpc-cross and libc-dev-bin-powerpc-cross respectively. These packages don't seem to exist in the emdebian repository. - libgcc1-powerpc-cross depends on gcc-4.4-base-powerpc-cross, but this package doesn't exist in the emdebian repository; gcc-4.4-powerpc-linux-gnu-base does, though. Perhaps a Provides would solve that problem. (Random note: assuming this represents the right place to report emdebian bugs, perhaps the cross-toolchains should have "Bugs: mailto:[email protected]";, so reportbug does the right thing.)
