Hello, 2009/9/26 Josh Triplett <[email protected]>: > Recently, the cross-toolchains for unstable seem to have become > uninstallable, due to two issues:
Sadly, we do not have a GCC4.4 powerpc cross toolchain, it needs to be fixed first. You can check current unstable status[1]. I am mostly maintaining and working towards ARM, but also trying to have other architectures. I'll try to take a look to powerpc the following days. I have some useful bits at my site[2] > (Random note: assuming this represents the right place to report > emdebian bugs, perhaps the cross-toolchains should have "Bugs: > mailto:[email protected]", so reportbug does the right > thing.) Actually, we do build and help maintaining cross toolchains, but currently we fill the bugs against gcc-X.Y packages, because building a cross toolchains it should be standard and all the magic happens in the gcc/binutils/kernel/libc packages. This might change in future if we start uploading to Debian.
