Dear Jan, This message was received, and is now archived at http://lists.debian.org/debian-gcc/2002/debian-gcc-200211/msg00208.html Most likely, nothing will happen in response to this message: There are no Fortran experts reading this list (to my knowledge), so it is quite unlikely that somebody will investigate this problem to help you. If you are sufficiently certain that there is indeed a bug in the compiler, please submit a formal bug report. Please use either the reportbug(1) or the gcc-bug(1) utility, depending on whether you want to add the bug report to the Debian bug tracking system, or directly to the maintainers of the compiler. If you are uncertain whether you have found a bug, you may try asking at [EMAIL PROTECTED] first. There is a good chance that you won't get any response there, either; in that case, just submit the bug report. Nothing might happen in response to a bug report for many months, unless an expert can determine quickly that the bug is in your code. Processing of bug reports usually depends on the available experts to resolve certain classes of bugs, and on the frequency at which the problem is reported. If you are interested in a quick solution to this problem, you either need to investigate it yourself, or hire somebody to investigate it for you. Kind regards, Martin
