While the KMail Folders/outbox it still visible in akonadi console, it is not visible anymore in KMail. This happened quite some time back, and is probably not the root cause of the issue, it just makes it hard to spot that an email gets not send, since there is no feedback at all to the user that the emails are not sent. If the outbox still would be there, the user can see that there are unsent emails in the outbox. > > Also I suggest kdepim-users upstream mailing list for things like this.
