I also got this problem on my old laptop with maestro3 device. Compiling and installing the fimware package worked.
I also got a few questions about this... 1) The error message: ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:00:06:0 disabled Maestro3: probe of 0000:00:06:0 failed with error -2 is not very informative. Wat does error -2 mean? Where can I find information on this kind of error messages? Since when do kernel modules that fail get loaded? Is Debian going to package the firmware package?
