Under the usual conditions, I couldn't see any problem with tmpfs for /tmp. I've now reverted to: Linux version 3.2.0-1-amd64 (Debian 3.2.7-1) (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc version 4.6.2 (Debian 4.6.2-16) ) #1 SMP Tue Feb 28 15:35:32 UTC 2012 (still with tmpfs for /tmp) and I'll see whether the temporary freeze problems reappear. -- Vincent Lefèvre <vinc...@vinc17.net> - Web: <http://www.vinc17.net/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <http://www.vinc17.net/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / AriC project (LIP, ENS-Lyon) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-kernel-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
