Many people have presented "problem situations" based around current technical shortfalls, but also problems that don't exist now such as extremely large projects (gigs of modified source, really?) or popular free VCS services that go down often and long enough to become a license compliance issue. It is not important that these problems be solved now, only that they are solvable and will be solved because that's how we - the free software community - handle problems. As I've already answered that question at least twice, you are not required to use your name or other truthful information when signing up for VCS services. A person needing to remain anonymous due to government problems can easily do so. I've certainly posted code under enough aliases to show this is not only possible, but is ready done today.
