That's the wrong solution; you need to fix your package to compile
with gcc-3.0.  If you add those build-depends, you'll just get a bug
report on those architectures who have no choice but to use gcc >>
2.95.

dpkg sucks; try apt-cache show g++ and check out the epoch in the
version field...
