I just completed a Debian installation onto a new laptop and would like to
raise a number of issues, but am not entirely sure how I should go about it.
It is not all stuff that fits neatly into per-package bugreports, though a
lot probably does.
I looked through the mailing list descriptions and recent contents,
concluding this was the best one to poke into. Some of my issues might be
appropriate for debian-{accessibility,boot,devel,fonts,security-tools,x} --
but not always clear which would go where, and I'd rather raise it as an
overall 'installation on this laptop involved a lot of papercuts'...
Should I just post it here (~1500 words / 10KiB); email with a particular
mentor-person for guidance on steps forward, or what?
