Thanks for the review and the guidance. It was a misunderstanding on my part regarding the bug numbers. I have updated the package to version 1.2.1-1 and corrected the debian/changelog to properly close the ITP bug #1134669. The new version is already available on mentors.debian.net. I will also follow your advice to host the packaging repository on Salsa and reach out to the Debian Multimedia team to find a sponsor.
