Hello, I have the intention of providing ocamake as part of debian. Strange wording you would say, but the problem is that ocamake is right now only a simple .ml file and a .html doc. It would be kind of ridiculous to ship a package with just it in it, but to what other package could it be added.
Ocaml-tools comes to mind, but Ralf has said that he considers multi-source packages problematic, and i am not maintaining it. What do you all think of this, do you think ocaml-tools could be one of the first packages handled in a cooperative way on the new project, and that various people could maintain sub-parts of it or something such ? It would still need a new release each time one of the packages is upgraded, but this could be done independently by each sub-maintainer ? Ralf, what do you think of it ? Friendly, Sven Luther
