Can you try the http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/installer-powerpc/current/images/powerpc/netboot/minimal/2.4/vmlinuz-prep.initrd It should not work (the above is oldworld pmac specific), but we will know if the problem is with the initrd size. > I am able to download the image using a tftp client on my PC - so it's not > a problem with the tftpd setup. > > 2. Well, again, this is an oldworld pmac image with miboot, not a prep one, and thus doesn't work. Floppy booting on prep/chrp is not supported right now. > Any hints?
