I'm having trouble starting wayland, probably because I moved my panel around. I'll create a new user and see if I can get in and try it there. xterm app, uses debian-xterm.desktop and any change anywhere in the kmenuedit dialog, even adding only a space in the command line arguments saves a faulty debian-xterm.desktop in ~/.local/share/applications. links2 browser, trying to add url as command line arg creates ~/.local/share/applications/links2.desktop it lacks the Hidden=false line so the apps won't run at all.
