Dear Maintainer, I'm pretty sure this is not a bug but just undefined behavior... I think what happens is when trying to run an app that is 'favorited' after the original has been edited, maybe that favorited link is not updated when the regular menu link is saved in kmenuedit. I'll do some more tweaking, it's fun. In the meantime, close the bug if you feel like it. ty I'm still confused about the way it works, but I got my menu sorted and wayland is really nice so far.
