Unfortunately due to protocol changes Electrum 2.7.9 (the version in stretch) is unable to connect to the Electrum servers. Backporting the changes would require extensive/invasive changes to the code, and this version is also subject to a security vulnerability (#886683), so I think we should remove the package from stable, unless including a newer upstream wholesale would be acceptable. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.14.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_ZA.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_ZA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_ZA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
