Err, there's really not /that much/ "housekeeping". It's mostly simple
things here and there, but it amounts to a wooping 8 lintians errors
and 13 lintian warnings.

I just can't leave a package in such a state. That's not, by far, the
level of quality I want in Debian.

Most of the diff you've seen is made of the patch attached to one of
the 2 bug reports.

By the way, the maintainer is moments away from being declared MIA,
and the package hasn't seen an upload in 13 months.
