I think our goal should be this one: A. Every time I try to build the package, the package builds ok, and moreover the .debs are always the same. Unfortunately some people are happy enough with this one: B. Every time I try to build the package, if the package builds ok then the .debs are always the same. The difference between A and B is this one, and I consider that to be more important than reproducibility itself, as it may have implications regarding DFSG compliance: C. Every time I try to build the package, the package builds ok. Is there any chance to include this in the overall goal, or are you aiming at B only? Thanks.
