While doing so, I noticed that a lot of packages (one fifth of M-A:same conflicts) differ in gzip compressed files only. The most frequent file is changelog.Debian.gz. Likely this is due to a new zlib upstream release having been uploaded recently. Then if buildds picked up different zlib builds, they would end up producing differently compressed files. Here, I have collected a list of source packages that build a package with a M-A:same file conflict such that all of the affected files are gzip compressed. Some of these will have other differences and will not be fixed by a binNMU, but the majority should get resolved. Can you schedule those binNMUs? Helmut
