We now have GNOME Shell 50 in experimental (I'm typing this email into
it) and I've just done the usual MBF asking extensions authors to
update. This will also be the GNOME release used in Ubuntu 26.04 LTS.

I've checked with the GNOME team and there are no known blockers. May we go ahead with the initial uploads?

This time, the group of entangled packages is:

* gdm3
* gnome-kiosk
* gnome-remote-desktop
* gnome-session
* gnome-shell
* mutter

all of which are GNOME-team-maintained.

Also gnome-shell-extensions, as usual; and the maintainers of some third-party extensions will need to re-upload from experimental to unstable:

- gnome-shell-extension-easyscreencast
- gnome-shell-frippery

A few extensions haven't yet been ported, and will need removing when the transition is otherwise ready, if not fixed by then:

- gnome-shell-extension-autohidetopbar
- gnome-shell-extension-flypie (NMU pending in DELAYED/14)
- gnome-shell-pomodoro
