"Building" as a w-b state means that the package has been taken by a buildd for building. You would only see other visible evidence of a build attempt if the buildd had taken the package for building, attempted to build it, and then sent a build log (success or failure) back to buildd.debian.org. There is of course a possibiilty that the process will stop at any point before buildd.d.o receiving the build log. Anyway, it's pretty clear that there's been a mass give-back of packages on i386, which indicates that getting the packages built is being worked on. > >> Would someone please kick the i386 buildd? > >To do what, exactly? > To make it start processing packages again... Well, the person who can fix this is Ryan Murray, whom you cc:ed on your last message; but I'm quite certain he's aware of the state of the i386 buildd since he's the local admin for it /and/ the buildd admin for the arch, so I trust that what can be done to get it back up is being done. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
