Thanks for working on this. The above sounds okay; is a debdiff of the proposed upload available somewhere? Is an upload to sid planned soon? If the package has the same version in stable and testing at the time of the point release then dak will automatically propagate the new stable package upwards in to testing (and unstable as well if required) in order to ensure that the version constraints between the suites are met; that may or may not be what you want.
