If you approve the fix, i will also merge #551468 and #685712 with the aforementioned bug report. Both describe the same issue. The fix is a one-liner and can be done via unstable. The current maintainer of xarchiver seems to be MIA. Optional: I could also fix two minor/documentation bugs, #656301 and #692261. I'd be glad if you approved the unblock request.
