I think what Adam meant was that with no release team relationship with upstream, no prior knowledge of the code, no Debian bugs and just a bunch of links to upstream bug reports, we have absolutely no way to assess the impact of: 49 files changed, 745 insertions(+), 190 deletions(-) (taurus) 43 files changed, 684 insertions(+), 580 deletions(-) (sardana) That's where you come in. You're the maintainer and the expert in this package. Are 251 and 221 that common and important that the other changes are worth less testing than usual? I have not, and will not, trawl through that list of upstream bugs, for the reasons above. I don't expect anyone else to either. -- Jonathan Wiltshire j...@debian.org Debian Developer http://people.debian.org/~jmw 4096R: 0xD3524C51 / 0A55 B7C5 1223 3942 86EC 74C3 5394 479D D352 4C51 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-release-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
