Well, before I describe in detail what to do I simply did in Git what IMHO should be done - specifically setting the team as Maintainer. I'm not sure who wants to remain in Uploaders field, you can easily add Paulo as well (which I would welcome to have two responsible members of the team). I also upgraded to latest upstream.
