I"m using; ii ntp 4.0.99g-3 Daemon and utilities for full NTP v4 timekeeping participation. ii ntpdate 4.0.99g-3 The ntpdate client for setting system time from NTP servers.
and am having problems. NTP never ever syncronizes to a clock, and ntpdate always gives the following errors, ntpdate india.colorado.edu 19 Jun 09:45:54 ntpdate[5839]: poll(): nfound = 0, error: Interrupted system call 19 Jun 09:46:54 ntpdate[5839]: poll(): nfound = 0, error: Interrupted system call 19 Jun 09:47:54 ntpdate[5839]: poll(): nfound = 0, error: Interrupted system call 19 Jun 09:48:54 ntpdate[5839]: poll(): nfound = 0, error: Interrupted system call 19 Jun 09:49:54 ntpdate[5839]: poll(): nfound = 0, error: Interrupted system call I'm running on a sparc5 using kernel 2.2.19. Anyone else seeing these problems, is there a work around. I did find that a lot of system calls seem to have "disapeared" when I went from a 2.4.x kernel down to 2.2.19 (I went to 2.2.19 because of lack of stability in the sparc32 2.4.x kernel). Thanks Andrew
