some processes take long time to finish. slurpd hangs sometime mystically or takes long to finish. I think it could cause probelms if I start it again before its done. some scripts are ok, like apache for example. when i run /etc/init.d/apace stop and its already stopped then it says that couldnt kill. but /etc/init.d/sysklogd stop always says 'Stopping system log daemon: syslogd.' cheers, http://www.axeltabs.com/ __ axel __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
