Indeed. I only posted the above in jest (hence the smilie). Anyways, my preference is none. I've used kde and gnome and I just don't see the point. There's nothing that I can see that they bring to the table that I don't have at the moment. So what do I use? Afterstep. :) It's a bit buggy atm but one of these days I'll pull my finger out and help out. It does transparency, which does me just fine for eyecandy. Now whilst it IS a window manager that appears to be all I need.
