Had a power outage, and when I brought my Debian 3 system back up it was hosed:
----------- EXT2-fs: unable to read superblock Attempt to access beyond device . . . FAT bread failed Invalid session number or type of track . . . Kernel panic: VFS: unable to mount root fs on 03:04 ----------- How do I interpret 03:04? If I boot off the boot floppy, everything is fine. Have poked around for answers in the archives, but haven't figured it out. boot drive: hda1 - /boot hda2 - swap hda3 - / second disk: hdd1 - /disk1 Thanks in advance for any tips, Royce -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
