Sounds like LILO is still hanging around in the master boot record. Run 'fdisk /mbr' to solve the problem. (This assumes you're running some flavor of MS DOS after version 5, including Win95). Other DOSes like Novell DOS 7 have an option within fdisk to rewrite the MBR. : :Leandro+ :___ :Leandro Asnaghi-Nicastro (LA672) :Capital of Nasty Electronic Magazine - ISSN 1482-0471 :Editor in Chief - http://www.capnasty.org -- Nathan Norman MidcoNet - 410 South Phillips Avenue - Sioux Falls, SD 57104 Voice: (605) 334-4454 Fax: (605) 335-1173 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP Key ID: 0xA33B86E9 - Public key available at keyservers PGP Key fingerprint: CE03 10AF 3281 1858 9D32 C2AB 936D C472 -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
