        Both the hard drive and the  rescue floppy throw me 
        into the RAM-fs.  (In fact, trying to re-install FreeBSD
        from its floppy disk is impossible.)  

        I'd like BSD on my second SCSI; Debian on my first and
        third, but....  (??)
