I hope not. The signal/noise ratio on mailing lists is always so much
better than on a newsgroup.

That's because you don't organize them. My mails are organized exactly
as real newsgroups: auto-folding, auto-sorting, auto-threading,
auto-expiration etc.

that, I don't like at all.
