My Memorex CRW-1622 worked just fine with the basic 2.1 install. I had all the the necessary devices and such. One caviat, I had to use the 2.1 development kernels to get proper support. When 2.2 came out, ide-scsi is broken. I went back to 2.1.125, (for writing CDs). Mark [EMAIL PROTECTED]
