UMAX Astro 1200S definitely works with sane, I use it. 1220S has also been reported to work with a normal SCSI adaptor. I have heard mixed reports about the SCSI adaptor which comes with the UMAX, but someone else has already reported on that. -- Kevin Dalley [EMAIL PROTECTED]
