A couple days ago I was installing Debian 2.1 and came across something that
might cause people problems...My first partition is NTFS, and I'm running NT
4. When I was creating my / partition during the Debian install, I had the
option to flag it "active", so not thinking, I did.  Upon rebooting, I got
"Invalid Partition Table"  Turns out, the WinNT boot code halts if you have
more then one partition marked "active", which I now had.  Unmarking the
partition solved the problem.  I was just thinking it might be nice to put
in a check for Microsoft boot code and warn you about that when you try to
mark a second partition active, at least during the initial installation.
If this is already documented...sorry, but I didn't see it =:-]
