-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I compiled and installed my own kernel from source (2.4.18).
Now there's following problem: The system can't find my second realtek 8139 ethernet card... I still have kernel 2.2 installed and booting with it gives following: card 1 (just to name it) is available as eth0 card 2 as eth1 That's the way it should be. But with kernel 2.4 it looks like this: card 1 is not available at all (modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth1) card 2 is now known as eth0. Does anybody know, what my mistake could be?
