I prefer to cd /etc rgrep -r domainname * so that I pick up all (I hope) the odd places that this information can be kept, e.g. dwww.conf, exim.conf, mailname, ntp.conf, and even things like the kernel maintainer's email address which *might* need changing as a result. Ditto for hostname and IP number changes. > Finally is there a script that you can run like the install script to > allow you to change the installed network card to a different > manufacturer or do you just hack /etc/modules.
