That would have been my suggestion. Generally, I've found you get most bang for the resources with IceWM. Blackbox is supposed to be extremely lightweight though, so you might want to check it out. However, Blackbox is too anemic even for me, so I generally use IceWM in memory-constrained computers. Dave
