Hi I am running debian on /dev/hda and want to install bsd on /dev/hdc . However lilo is unable to boot freebsd on /dev/hdc and and I get the error 0x01 . The freebsd documentation say that I must install its boot manager on the first hard disk . I would like to avoid this . Could you please advice? I have read linux+freebsd howto but could not glean anything about dealing with a second hard disk. Please note: my lilo version number is 21.5beta Sincerely Balbir Thomas
