I went ahead and downloaded the net install for Lenny, and have since upgraded it to Sid. It works just fine, and the only differences so far that I noticed is that Sid uses the 2.6.18-k7 (so does Lenny) on this system by default, and there doesn't seem to be any later kernel available in the Sid repo. My Sidux install OTOH, uses 2.6.21.1 It doesn't really make a lot of difference unless of course one has hardware that isn't recognized by the 2.6.18 kernel. But even Ubuntu is using a 2.6.20, so I wonder. In any event, my Sid partition is working just fine, and is fully up to date. It does boot nice and fast!
