It's not about censorship. It's about self-control. Clueless noobs
(*Cough* *buntu *Cough*) come here looking for answers. OT is driving
away the very best people (DDs) who might help them.

I do too. This isn't "pile on Roberto Sanchez." It's "fix the list."
I blame lots of people, including myself. I've participated in those
threads myself. However, if someone like Joey Hess can't stand
looking in from time to time, we may as well all wander over to
alt.os.linux.ubuntu. Good luck finding help there.

I agree. However, he's also been utterly oblivious to what Joey's
practically begged him for. Defending *excessive* OT in the face of
imminent list destruction does neither of you any service.

I have never singled out Roberto as being any sort of problem. He is
not the problem. *Actions* like his and others are the problem.

I want Joey Hess and his ilk back, and I want the noobs to be
comfortable here. Anything that gets in the way of that hurts
Debian. And it really annoys me that this stuff is spilling over into
debian-devel. Are we going to kill that list next? Is this just a
troll party?

Buenos noches.
