AbiWord exports to two different versions of RTF and there is still a lot that's liable to get lost. But the alternative would be to use OpenOffice's Word export - and I've had nothing but trouble with that. My boss likes his MS Office and his 'rich' formatting - otherwise, I'd gladly hand in all my papers in plain text. *shrugs* All things considered, AbiWord is the lesser of the available evils.
