So I guess your soundcard changed as well. Please post the output
of:
$ lsmod | grep snd
$ cat /etc/modules
$ cat /etc/modprobe/sound
$ cat /etc/modprobe/sound.conf
$ cat /proc/asound/cards
$ cat /proc/asound/version
# lspci -vv | grep -i audio -A 14
