anybody got any ideas?
I would try removing the NM control over the wlan0 device, and install
wicd network manager, which, on my desktop machines, provided a
much flexible and stable networking.
Try it first without removing NM (which btw, I suggest not to, because it's
too connected through the system), and if it works, then you can remove
NM from init sequence at all.
This *may* be a quick solution. If not, there are other tracks we can
follow
to get the problem solved. Come back with a feedback and we'll see about it.
