Hi all I have described my problem a while ago and now I got a solution to my Ubuntu bug report:

So I tried to do the way post 6 describes. I have installed debian-6.0.4- i386-CD-1.iso after putting it on a usb stick with unetbootin. Then I tried to install gcc but it can't find the installation medium anymore. So I mounted the created usb stick to /media/cdrom/ as I was told but still I get the same message.
