Configure the default paper settings with libpaper1. # dpkg-reconfigure libpaper1 That will present a dialog box allowing you to select the default paper size. Because you have a large environment you will probably want to set /etc/papersize directly. (Which is what I do.) The package manages it with ucf. $ cat /etc/papersize Bob
