Andrei brings up an important point: We should enter phase two, where
we:

1) Boycott (and be vocal about it) Gnome

2) Pressure all other upstreams into a "no systemd dependencies"
   pledge, and to the best of our abilities, boycott (and be vocal about
   it) those who don't comply.
