Yes, on my one systemd box, I had a problem with which no-one could help me. I do not allege that systemd directly caused it, but that the advent of systemd caused a lot that had worked one way before, to have to work differently now; that there are still some glitches in this, and that we, as a group, do not know the answers. I asked on two lists, fiddled, went spare, decided that life is too short and reinstalled. With Jessie again. It is lovely, but ... I am now terrified to upgrade because the problem arose as a result of a mistake I made during a routine upgrade. It is a mistake I have made before, and always been able to get out of before. If I make it again, I shall reinstall again much earlier. I am not upgrading my desktop yet. Wheezy is long term. In a year or so Jessie may have settled down, the bugs may have been ironed out, and we may all have acquired some expertise. Or I can wait for Stretch. I am not tempted to leave Debian, and am still very grateful for it. But I do think that it is a pity that Jessie was released. It was not, IMHO, release ready. Yes, it runs beautifully for many people, but it is not stable, however much it may be Stable. There are too many problems. And as Renaud says, not enough expertise.
