It's good to have a reminder that Grub Legacy has been consigned to the trashcan of unmaintained software. Please note that GRUB Legacy is in maintanance mode and new features are only accepted in GRUB 2 (grub-pc package). in the package description eliminates any hope that Debian will pick up the baton.
